Emptying the dust cup
Pull up on Dust Cup Release Latch on the handle and lift dust cup off pod.
Hold dust cup over a trash bin and press the empty-release latch on the bottom to empty
dust and debris into trash.

How to clean the filters
Regularly clean and replace the filters to keep your vacuum's suction power optimal.
To clean filters, rinse with cold water ONLY to prevent damage from cleaning chemicals. Allow
all filters to air-dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling them to prevent liquid from being
drawn into electric parts.
With the dust cup removed, take out the foam and felt filters and rinse them with
water only. Tap loose dirt off filters between washes as needed.
CLEAN PRE-MOTOR FILTERS EVERY 3 MONTHS.
To access the HEPA Filter, pull the latch under the filter cover and take off the cover.
Remove the HEPA filter and rinse it with water only.
CLEAN HEPA FILTER AND POST MOTOR FILTER EVERY YEAR.
How to replace filters
Follow the previous instructions for removing filters. The pre-motor filters should be replaced every
2.5 years. The post-motor HEPA filter should be replaced every 3 years.
How to clean the brushroll
The self-cleaning brushroll automatically removes hair wrap. If some hair or debris remains after
continued use, remove the cover to access the brushroll. Using a coin, turn locks counterclockwise, then open the cover to access Brushroll.
NOTE: Cover will open but is not completely removable.
Cleaning the soft roller
DuoClean technology features a bristle brush to deep-clean carpets, and an additional soft
brushroll to pull in larger particles and directly engage floors for a polished look.
To remove the Soft Roller, slide the Eject Roller button on the floor nozzle. Tap loose debris off the Soft Roller. Use a dry towel to wipe it clean, and to remove any debris caught in the teeth behind the Soft Roller.
Hand-wash the Soft Roller as needed. Use only water, and let it air-dry completely for at least

Detach hose from vacuum pod, and check hose and opening on back of pod for blockages.
